Raymond Donald Starbuck

Raymond Donald Starbuck (Civil Engineering, B.A., 1900) a famed Cornell football player. He was the fullback on the varsity football team in 1899 and 1900. He was captain of the football team in 1899 and 1900 and was selected as an All-American in 1900. In 1899, he led the Cornell team to its first victory over Princeton in the history of the rivalry. He served as the head coach of Cornell’s football team in 1901 and became one of the top executives at New York Central Railroad from 1917 to 1949.
